Game Mechanics

Fluid Dig Pathfinder is a physics‑based puzzle game where you interact with deformable terrain (sand, dirt, rock) by dragging or clicking to dig channels, tunnels, and paths. One or more fluids – water, lava, steam, or oil – flow through these channels under gravity or pressure. Your goal is to guide the fluid(s) to specific targets: containers, stars, switches, plants, or other level objectives. Each level presents a new terrain layout. You must plan your dig pattern carefully before or during fluid release. Dig too much and you waste fluid; dig too little and the fluid never reaches the target. Some fluids interact: water turns lava into solid rock; steam rises while water falls. Hazards include hot surfaces that evaporate water or acid pools that destroy your channels. The game features 100+ levels of increasing complexity. Early levels teach basic digging and fluid flow. Later levels introduce multiple fluid types, limited digging actions, moving platforms, and hidden switches. You earn stars based on how efficiently you guide the fluid. Progression is level‑based and linear. You unlock new fluid types and terrain properties as you advance. Failure means restarting the level – but you can retry instantly, learning from your mistakes. Unlike action platformers, Fluid Dig Pathfinder rewards patience, observation, and logical planning. It’s a pure puzzle game similar to Where’s My Water? but with more fluid types and deeper terrain manipulation.
