Leiser Chess

About the Game

"Leiser Chess" is a logic game from the "Laser Chess" family. Its main distinguishing feature is the dynamic nature of the beam-emitting pieces, which adds extraordinary strategic depth to the game-play. The goal: by manipulating the placement and rotation of the pieces, hit the opponent's beam-emitting piece and protect your own.

Control buttons (left to right): • Help • Settings / End game • Undo move / Rollback moves • Confirm move Game Rules Each player has 8 pieces: 1 emitter and 7 reflectors. • Emitter - fires a laser beam every turn. • Reflector - reflects the beam from 2 sides. If a beam hits an emitter or a reflector from its non-reflective side, regardless of which player it belongs to, that piece is destroyed. The goal of the game is to keep your own emitter alive and destroy your opponent's emitter. Each turn, a player can perform one of the following actions: • Rotate one of their pieces by any angle that is a multiple of 90°. • Move one of their pieces to an adjacent free cell. After the action, the emitter fires its beam, and the turn passes to the opponent. Settings options • Move search depth - how many steps ahead the algorithm should search for the optimal move.
