A Territory Capture game is an arcade strategy mechanic where you claim ownership of playable area by drawing lines, moving across unclaimed terrain, or enclosing sections with your trail. The core loop is simple: you move a cursor, character, or snake-like entity across a grid or open field, leaving a trail behind. Returning to your existing territory or closing a loop transforms the enclosed area into your color, adding to your total captured land. However, leaving a trail makes you vulnerable — colliding with enemy trails, your own tail, or certain obstacles resets your progress or eliminates you.
