Nonograms - Japanese crosswords
About the Game
The Japanese crossword puzzle, also known as Nonogram, Japanese puzzle, Japanese drawing, Pick-a-Peaks, Picross, Griddler and others, appeared in Japan at the end of the twentieth century and managed to gain great popularity among puzzle lovers. In this crossword puzzle, the images are encrypted with numbers that are located to the left of the rows and above the columns that determine the number of shaded cells. The numbers indicate how many groups of shaded cells are in the corresponding rows and columns, as well as how many cells are combined in each of these groups. The goal of the game is to get information based on already solved cells, determine which cells can be filled in and eventually get a solved crossword puzzle displaying some kind of picture.
