About the Game

🧮A tangled detective story is about to unfold. 👮‍♂️🕵️‍♂️Inspector Hale and Detective Crane are on the trail of a mysteriously vanished professor of history and archaeology — who also happens to be Crane’s old friend. Professor Eldridge was always a touch eccentric, but disappearing without a word and leaving his office turned upside down was never part of his habits. He’s clearly in trouble — and in need of help. 🔸You’ll enjoy this game if you like a calm, thoughtful experience — connecting clues, uncovering new evidence, and wondering how the story will end. 🔸Ahead of you lie 10 chapters, each set in a unique location with its own atmosphere, story fragment, and collection of clues. 🔍The professor is in danger. Don’t waste time — it’s time to meet your companions on this investigation: Crane and Hale.

How to Play

🔍 First things first — check your Investigation log. It keeps a record of your entire adventure. You can open it anytime by clicking the book icon at the top of the screen. 🔸 At the top of the screen, a new clue will appear each turn. 🔸 Move it left or right using your mouse or finger. 🔸 When you release it, the clue will fall down. 🔸 Try to make it collide with another of the same kind. 🔸 When two identical clues meet, they combine into a new one. 🔍 From time to time, the detectives may ask for your help examining clues. By assisting them, you can clear some space on the board — they usually ask for the oldest clues. 🔍 Keep an eye on the board — if it fills up completely, you might lose the game. To avoid that, call on the detectives for help whenever you need it. Use the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen.
